Some of you may have seen Panorama on Monday night on BBC. The programme exposed a fraudulent racket in motor accidents fuelled by solicitors paying "referral fees" to garages, insurers and just about anyone on the road traffic accident "food chain".

St Helens Law decided long ago that paying referral fees was not in the best interests of clients or St Helens Law. The decision was made because:-

1) The incentive leads to fraudulent claims.

2) The quality of the staff that can be allocated to this work is reduced because of the cost of the fee.

3) There is no need to pay these fees if your work is done well as clients will come back to you if you give them a good service.


At St Helens Law we have developed a network of support that enables us to manage road traffic accidents for clients. We can arrange for courtesy cars if needed, treatment in the form of counselling or physiotherapy and for the car to be repaired all at no cost to you. The service is provided by us at no cost to you and our fees are paid by the insurers.

We do not become involved in fraudulent or exaggerated claims.
